Bringing Jesus to the Homebound

I bring Holy Communion to my parish’s homebound. Because my visits are regular and sometimes continue for years, I have the privilege of developing relationships with many of the communicants. They become friends. Old friends, I like to joke, because most of them are in their nineties.
